Are you ready to Learn and Master Guitar? Possibly the highest versatile instrument that has ever been made is the guitar. Used in several genres of music; from alternative rock to country music. In most cases, the lead singer in a band also plays the guitar.

If you want to start learning how to play the guitar, it will take some patience, dedication, and commitment on your behalf. You will need to haveto get used to some physical effects from learning the guitaras well.

What I mean is, you may start get calluses on your fingers, strumming the guitar (from the strings). Your hands also may cramp a a little when you begin learning the chords, because they're not used to being in those positions. Quite possibly your shoulders will experience soreness and tiredness.

Remember this, no matter who your idol is, they also had to begin somewhere. They also experienced the soreness and calluses that you will. No Pain No Gain is actually truly relevant when you are first learning the guitar.

Before you learn how to play the guitar, you must learn how to tune it. In order to give off any good sounds, your guitar must be properly tuned. The first step is to tune the lower E string, which is located at the bottom of the guitar. Next is the A string (2nd from the bottom), D string (3rd from the bottom), G string (fourth from the bottom) and B string (5th from the bottom). The last string to tune is the high E string. You could also use electronic tuners; these are available at almost all music stores.

You can chose topay the music store to tune your guitar for you. However, it truly is a skill that you should know how to do. Otherwise, you'll be spending a lot of money on having your guitar tuned. Someone at a music store will be ableto educate you how to tune a guitar. You may need to pay for it, or it may be free. It is worthwhile to learn because you'll also ensure that any time you want to play, your guitar will sound its best.

After your guitar is correctly tuned, now comes learning how to read guitar tabs. Many tutorialscan be found in the internet. ( I higly recommend the Learn and Master Guitar Course. It has training for everything you need- from tuning your guitar, to hand placement, to stumming. You can find information on this complete comprehensive course right here: Learn and Master Guitar Reviews -you can also receive a free guitar course sent to your email).

Then, you must properly place your fingers on each string. This can help you lessen the pain that you will encounter. Next, with your other hand, strum the guitar. Lastly, practice playing songs that have the least complicated chords to play. Some simple chords are C, G, and A.

That's it! Now you know the basics of how to play a guitar. Remember that practice makes perfect. The more you practice, the sooner you will master playing the guitar.
